Diaspora Dance and Arts Festival, one of Ghana’s very strategic and impactful dance and arts festival initiatives, has returned in grand style after a year of its absence.
The very insightful project by the U Dance Arts International, USA, made an impressive show at the Food Court of the Accra Mall two years ago, and the maiden edition, a year before, at Afrikiko Leisure Center.
This year, organizers are looking to have a tweak to their calendar, as they join the people of Aburi to celebrate their 200th Odwira festival. For the first time, the dance and arts festival will be organized in a different region and season. The festival will be moved from the usual Christmas period to Saturday, October 17, 2026, to fit in the widely recognized festival of the people of Aburi this year.

This adventure comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. But, the good thing is, the event will have a new audience and an entirely different feeling as it forms a major part of this year’s Odwira festival. This is going to be very pivotal for the progressive agendas of the event in subsequent years.
The art promoting adventure expects to see paint artists, woodwork artists, textile designers, and choreographers, among other creatives, give the audience an experience of a lifetime. It expects to see an audience of various demographics packed at the venue as festivals of this magnitude always attract people from all over the world.

Thanks to the likes of UDAI Studios, we are seeing some dance, as well as arts festivals springing up in the past few months. Pioneering such an incredible course is such a heartwarming fulfillment that will be with this organization forever.
U Dance Arts International, USA, is joined by King Of All Perfume, Medazee Ventures, and Koo’s Empire Designs in putting together the third Diaspora Dance and Arts Festival. The organizers call upon corporate Ghana to come on board to accomplish this remarkable project. Organizers can be reached on WhatsApp through; +1(267)-303-0842, +233 24 361 2019 or +233 24 835 4854.

Having this particular edition come off in Aburi, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, organizers will have a number of participants who are new to this event. Hopefully, the steady progress will be observed as a new spectacle will be experienced in the Diaspora Dance and Arts Festival.
