The enviable, yet, friendly competitive relationship between Ghana and Nigerian has seen another platform for more bragging rights.
There has been a longstanding debate on who has the best jollof, music, football talents, and best movies, among others. Nigerian choreographer Ukalina Celine Opuwari, also known as Chakripink, has now made a confident statement that may need something to settle the scores.
On the night of Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the international dancer had an interesting conversation with Usher1Baby on Celebrity Dance Lifestyle on TikTok live UDAI Studios. When the question of superiority between the two African giants came up, the well-traveled choreographer chose her fatherland as the country with the best choreographers.
That same night saw the Super Eagles of Nigeria beating the Black Stars of Ghana at the Unity Cup. The two African countries join Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago in the friendly encounter. Nigeria will now face Jamaica in the inal of four nation tournament as Ghana competes for the third place.

The dance goddess made a sad revelation of the neglect of the Nigerian government in the quest to revamp the dance fraternity of the country. The pitfalls of the federal government is a common phenomenon in the Sub-Saharan Africa. One ironic fact is that African talent is natural and needs a little push for it to blossom.
Despite the situation, the Nigerian digital content creator confidently backed the skills of Nigerian choreographers to triumph in a competition with the Ghanaian choreographers. Ghana was also represented as Usher1Baby also made mention of the fact that Ghana is the dance powerhouse of Africa. The back and forth of this topic can simply be settled with a face-off between top choreographers of each country.
While Ghana boasts of the likes of I Am Azonto, DWP Academy, 4 Bent Dance Crew, and the likes, SayRahChip and her cohorts, as usual, will not back down without giving it a fight. Afronitaaa and Abigail also have already registered Ghana’s Dance superiority in the British Got Talent show in the last edition of the competition.

We look forward to a dance battle between the two great African nations. An independence celebration of either faction might be a great day for this interesting competition to take place.
