One of Ghana’s brightest dance crew, Millitant Dance Family, have had their management head leave the team.
The manager of the group, Daniy, is known to be a strong pillar in this setup, and his exit is going to have an immediate destabilization on the team. The team will now need a member to fit in the shoes of their devoted prodigy.
Teamwork is a delicate topic for individuals who come together for projects. In the entertainment space, we have seen numerous careers taking nosedives after the separation or exit of a team member. This is the reason behind the fears that erupt when there is news of an exit in a group in this entertainment space.
The prominent Ghanaian dance group, Militant Dance Family, cemented their fame when a video of their performance with Black Sherif’s mega hit song ‘Soja’ went viral. The team brought their A-game on, and their craft was beautifully matched with the energetic performance of the prominent Ghanaian singer.
They are one of the choreographers that skillfully blended various Afrobeats with international dance styles and some trending dance steps. They are obviously a formidable crew that needs to stay afloat to help project the Ghana Dance Industry to the heights in the dance industry worldwide.
The Millitant Dance Family, who have been vocal in advocating for a shift in the perception of dance as a career in Ghana, will now be without Daniy, a pivotal figure in the team. Although it is possible for the team to grow in his absence, it will take a while for adjustment with respect to his roles and vision in getting the team to attain this resolute brand.
Hopefully, the likes of Fantastic Edem, the MDF’s co-founder, can help keep the team on course. Also, Daniy’s experience and expertise are really needed in the Ghanaian dance industry, and a new project will surely be a welcomed one.
