Energetic Ghanaian dance performer and promoter Michael Peprah, widely known as Real Azonto U.S, has thrown some light on the difficult times in his life.
The king of the street had a heartfelt conversation with Usher1Baby on Thursday, May 15, 2025, on Celebrity Dance Lifestyle, a dance promotional platform on TikTok. He gave props to popular Ghanaian choreographer E-Flex for being a significant factor in the transformation of his life.
According to the incredible dance street stylist, his life came to a closed road, where he lost options. The only thing that bailed him out was the beautiful talent he was blessed with. To his surprise, he was able to build his life from scratch on the bedrock of his dance abilities.
“I was not able to get the chance to be at his place, but we were always communicating, and I explained everything to him. My situation and everything. He told me to visit him over the studios. I should come and stay over.
So, as I got to the studios, that’s where the dream started. That’s where I gave a promise to myself that I’ll harness in this industry. I’m giving myself two years to learn, to work out, to build… Because, at that moment, I was just dancing. I didn’t know much about dance. I thought dance was just me dancing, enjoying what I’m doing. I didn’t know the education side.” the king of the street style Asorkpor uncovered.

The art of dancing has metamorphosised over the years into an extremely resourceful venture. A number of individuals and firms, even in this country, have made fortunes out of joining the value chain of choreography. The powerful tool for self-expression does not only serve its recreational purposes but also adds to the financial and social standards of participants.
The passionate dancer who was born and raised in Kumasi discovered his passion for dance at a very tender stage. He captured Ashanti championships and competitions at 6 years old and made it to the quarter finals of the popular TV3’s Talented Kidz at 8 years old. He is known for his ability to connect with audiences through dance, aiming to inspire and uplift through movement. He has performed at the CDC Festival in Berlin as part of a youth exchange program between Germany and Ghana, among other revered dance platforms all over the world.
Azonto US is one of the great talents that was saved from the tantrums of streetism. The exciting thing about him is the fact that he knows how tough the journey has been and how his life would have been if not for his creative blessings. He is currently actively involved in “I Am Azonto Dance for Change Ghana,” which focuses on using dance to inspire and uplift, according to Akwaaba Dance Camp.

Giving credits to I Am Azonto makes it viable for others to help save talents from wasting away due to financial difficulties. There are many great choreographers with similar experiences, and it is definitely an accomplishment to carry someone through the struggles to the limelight.
